Horse Show Success

The Punchestown team had another successful Lakeside weekend! Claire and Gracie were reserve champion in the hopeful jumpers and Eddie and Moon were reserve champion in the special hunters at their first time showing in the 2’6. Haley got lots of ribbons including winning a class in the cross – rails on Blizzard and Lauren ribboned well in all of her 2′ classes at her very first horse show! We also had a couple of circuit champions awarded; one to Libby in the 15 and over eq. and the other to Silas in the low hunters. Libby won both of her equitation classes today and Silas was champion in the lows both days.

Thank You Dan Easley

Punchestown would like to express our appreciation to Dan Easley for the excellent job he did not only on the excavation for our new indoor, but also for the extra time and effort he put in to making the footing absolutely perfect for us.   From day one he faced incredible adversity dealt to him by the massive floods during the spring of 2011.  This made the project take twice as long and made the work twice as hard, but Dan remained great to work with and always put in the extra effort.  We would highly recommend Dan Easley to anyone looking to build a new riding arena either indoor or out or to repair an existing arena.   Dan has an excellent grasp of what is required to make an ideal riding surface.
